As a technology lover with a passion for fashion, it’s been amazing to see how these two markets are coming together and how the combination turned unique.
It's incredible to start thinking about fashion not only as an everyday personal statement but as a statement with functionality that, apart from looking for new answers in what concerns environment, it improves your daily life activities.
I’m talking about the new sector that involves the wearables, the so called “tech market”. It’s becoming really big and the fashion industry is rapidly making space for the technology liaison.
I will leave you with one statement from an article I've read that made me understand how big this market already is and the IT opportunities involved in it:
"Currently one in five adults wears a smart watch or fitness strap and by 2020, the wearable tech market will be worth 30 billion euros globally – proving the market is one to watch."
